Ice Climbing in Winterpeg

Winnipeg a.k.a Winterpeg can be pretty brutal in the winter months, but besides Festival du Voyageur, the Forks river trail, hot chocolate, and Netflix you may want to try something a little bit more daring and exciting.

The Ice Tower is put on by the St.Boniface Alpine Club of Canada every year. It takes weeks to make it by spraying water over time into the air, allowing it to freeze that’s why it tends not to open until after Christmastime.

It has, at least, four routes you can take depending on your skill level. And for a mere $40, you can challenge yourself while getting a great workout.  say that you conquered the 20-meter tall tower.

And at the end of the day, you can say that you conquered the 20-meter tall tower.

It’s not as scary as you may think, just take a peep.
